we do have the problem of periodically missing BI favorites. Actually we don't even know the exact reason. I read about Java Updates and we also made the experience of missing favorites after changing a key figure structure of the according query.
Our end users are really irritated about that as they created their favcorites in hard and time consuming sessions with their key users and finally are working as sales reps and really dont want to have too much contact with such IT things...
So, we are on one hand wondering about the exact reasons for this. What exactly causes that a Portal favorite doesn't work anymore?
And more than that I would like to know... how do you handle this problem? Is there a way of exporting the favorites and later on importing them? And if this works how would I do that and is there a way of getting a favorite list for all users and not selecting them user per user?
