KM Content is empty on root folder is there while CM has all folder structure!!!

Hi Experts,

Below is the scenario I am facing .. is it normal..!!

I can see all folder structure under Content Management ; but if I go to Content Administration->KM Content I can see any of the folder except "root".

Now if I write RID file = RID.getRID("/documents/test4.htm") it is giving null pointer exception.Though test4.htm is present under "document" in Content Management.

java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.util.Map.get(java.lang.Object) of an object loaded from static field com.sapportals.wcm.util.uri.RID.ridCache

Can anyone please guide me on this..
