Administration Error for Admin Console of Forums Application

Hi All,

We’re trying to setup the Forums Application under NW 7.0 (NW2004s) SPS14.

After everything was created, based on

such as adding 7 Creating the system object (HTTPS) and the basic set of forums iViews

(Forums User View, Forum Administrator view (Admin Console) and Initial Administration View)

I’m always running in following error, once trying to access the Admin Console (Forum Administrator View):

Administration Error

----

You do not have administrator permissions for performing this operation

My user is assigned to the group Administrators, and the Group is also added to application-specific J2EE security role JiveAdminDefinitionRole, what is a requirement!

And my user is set as initial forums system administrator, through the “Add Forums Administrator User iView” but still I cannot access the admin console, being able to create or access a forum or add other users. Always the same error message - You do not have administrator permissions for performing this operation?

Does anybody have an idea what’s causing this error or did you have perhaps the same experience and found a way to solve the issue?
