TREX error - cannot create index error code 7262

Hi experts,

I am trying to create a index in sap portal 7.3 , our trex is 7.1.

i am gettting an error, "Index could not be created, creating index failed: cannot send xml request to http://xyz:30105/TREX, reason: A remote host  did not respond within the timeout period. (Error code 7262)"

Please let me know how to resolve this error.
