Hi All,

 

I have created an content repository in the name of 09 and tested the connection was successfull,

but when i click the cs admin ,there the content repository status is running but in the

bottom tab i am getting an information message

 

HTTP error: 501 Not Implemented  ICS:

003: The ArchiveLink command ?adminContRep?is not supported in this scenario

Message no. CMS025

Diagnosis

Error in accessing via HTTP

501 Not Implemented

ICS:5003: The ArchiveLink command ?adminContRep?is not supported in this scenario.

 

 

what is this message for is anything wrong in the settings or any parameter missing, please any help on this.

Hi All,

 

I need to hide user name (Author) in Collaboration room's Discussion forum for public room.

 

I need to create a public room where users can discuss on a topic, Everything is working perfect. Now my requirement is, I dont want to show the participent's name (Author field) in this discussion forum.

 

Is it possible? if yes, how?

Hi,

 

I have EP 7.0 SP 21.

 

When I tried to map a network drive in Windows Explorer  to the WEBDAV URL of the Portal , don´t accept the URL. It said the folder is not valid. I know are problem with WebDAV in Windows 7. but not are a solution to this yet.

Hi, I've created forms to show News with the NewsExplorer  and NewsBrowser layout, with the Forms Builder and put them in iViews using this document

Anonymous user is able to see the list of News (RenderListItem) but no to display the content of the News, it keeps asking for login and showing the login screen.

 

 

I have already applied note 837898 regarding anonymous KM.

 

Any suggestions?

I'm not happy from the usability of the out of the box KM discussion board. Never the less, this discussion board is OK and i would like to integrate it on my Intranet sap portal, where can i download this product?

Hi,

We have just applied SP18 (from SP14). In our KM discussion forum the time shown for 'last post' is now changed to the time when the post was 'last read' by a user.

 

Have anyone seen this before? and where can I change so it displays when the post/reply was posted?

Hello gurus,

please forgive the silly question as I'm completely a newbie on the argument.

I'm trying to implement a news iview in Portal; I found an exaustive and intesting How-to guide that designs exactly my scenario:

How to Create XML Forms (NW2004)

 

However, I tried to start from the existing SAP_DemoNews project doing some little modifications in order to include a society logo.

So, I opened SAP_DemoNews project and did a Save as... to MyTemplateNews project.

However, even though the project seems correct as there are no errors in the generate() phase, I cannot see a preview of any module as the windows which is opened contains the following message:

 

XML - Forms  
Item /documents/xmlforms/xfbuilder/preview/MyTemplateNews.xml does not exist

 

I guess there's something wrong with paths and configuration, but didn't found any reference searching the forum; could anyone provide me an help to work with previews?

Hi all,

 

I have written a repository service for document count and also to dynamically assign permission to the users. I have configured a CM Repository manager to access these services, the CM repository manager is set in FSDB mode.

The problem what I am facing is -

When I create a document from within nthe Portal in the CM Repository manager the repository services come into play and they work fine.

But when I physically create a document in the file server, there is no affect of the repository services created , and also that document does not even contain a property value created for the document count service.

 

Can anyone please throw some light on this.

In my scenario, users will not upload the documents form the portal, they will be dumped on the file server from an external system.

Hi,

 

After migrating EP to SP11, I see errors in xml forms create/edit mode.

In the html editor control, when I try to do any manipulation (change character size, create a link, etc...), I get a javascript error popup, saying "[object Error]".

 

Do anybody have an idea?

Hi,

 

I have assigned SAPs standard eu role pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/eu_role/ to end user. In end user id , I am able to see tabs such as Company, Work, Teams and Documents.  Any inputs on how to configure this? The discussion option provided here , is it same as forums ?

 

 

Any pointers on this would be highly appreciated.

Hi all,

 

We are facing serious issue  while creating KM content as showed in below images, some properties (Creating New Folder, Lifetime, multiple Upload...)  are missing. some time users are able to see some times not, and some properties are missing after clearing browser history/cache. we cross checked all possibilities and tried restarting portal also but no use. please suggest what we will do it is needful for me. We are using SAP Portal 7.00 SP20.

I'm NOT able to create a content repository by csadmin and oac0 (tcd)

 

I get the following error :

 

HTTP error: 404 Not Found  Cannot create Configuration of Repository ZR_R3D_DOC

HTTP error: 500 Internal Server Error Cannot create Repository: Configuration profile for Repository  ZR_R3D_DOC unknown

 

Any hits would be greatly appreciated. Thx
