We are getting an error in Indexing Monitor.
On clicking on the link "Read More" the below screen is getting displayed.
On clicking on the link - "SearchId" the below screen is getting displayed.
In Edit Queue parameters also the index id in red status - SearchID is not coming in the drop down list.
Please help.

We are on NW 7.4 portal. I was exploring on collaboration features in portal and I am bit confused in this. Some queries might sound lame as well but looking forward to some inputs.As mentioned in this thread Re: SAP collobration is wiki and forum a replacement for collaboration rooms? When we say NW 7.4 portal has better collaboration features what exactly are we referring to. I have referred link for configuring wiki Configuring and Managing Wikis in the Portal - SAP Library for forums Making Forums Available in the Portal - SAP Library and SAP NetWeaver Portal: Collaboration Rooms, Groupware Framework and Synchronous Collaboration Services for collaboration rooms.
So when we speak of collaboration features in portal what all does in encompass? Are collaboration rooms still used in 7.4 or is there any replacement feature for the same in 7.4 portal ?
Any inputs on this?

We have production portal and Quality portal both on EP7.4 SP9>
1. How do I move the KM folders and files in Production Portal to Quality Portal. What is the procedure? We have around 500 files(.doc,.pdf etc).
Do I have to use transport package?
There are other way to execute this proccess??

I have a requirement to copy a certain folder in KM which serves as a template. This folder contains other folders with a lot of specific permissions set.
When I copy the folder, the permissions are not taken over in my result folder. SAP documentation says that when working with templates, the permissions are not copied. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/55/83bd402b8d8031e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
I'm not using the standard templates mechanism, but it is not working either when I copy a random folder.
Is there a work-around available?

I am unable to access my sapdb from my Content Server via CSADMIN or with the /ContentServer.dll?serverInfo page.
I run a Content Server on Unix - version 640, build 16. Here's what I've verified thus far:
- SAPDB is up and running.
- x_server process is running
- apache is running (httpd processes)
- Standalone gateway on same server is running.
In the apache error logs I find the following message:
ErrorDescription: Cannot start Document request, reason: SQLConnect
failed, [MySQL MaxDB][LIBSQLOD SO][MaxDB] Invalid authorization specification;-4008 POS
(1) Unknown user name/password combination, Error
Code: -4008\r\nX-ServerId: server="nwkwcs";serverPort="1090"\r\nX-
ServerType: SAP HTTP Content Server\r\n
I had not changed my SAPR3 user or password in the database, so I am confused why this started happening all of a sudden?
In an attempt to fix, I reset SAPR3 to custom password and ran report
RSCMSPWS to store the new password in the cs.conf file. However, the
same error is still a result.
So, I deleted and recreated SAPR3 based upon SUPERDBA profile with default "SAP" password.
Then, I commented out DBNAME and PASSWORD in cs.conf file. So, it should be using the default SAPR3/SAP login to the database.
However, this did not help either.
I looked at note 706664, however I cannot even get the repositories to a defined status. I cannot connect via CSADMIN?

when we open KM documents in Office 2010 we get a prompt for username and password.
I remember that i had the same issue a few years ago with a office version, but i don´t know how i fixed it.
This time the content is called within citrix, so it is possible that e.g. registry values are not set, that fixed the problem locally a few years ago...
The strange thing is that this only happens when opening a document for reading, if i use "edit locally" username/password are not prompted.
Could anyone give me a solution for this?
I read The specified item was not found., but it is from 2005 so I don´t think it should be relevant today, or am I wrong?
Our KM version is 7.00 SP16

Hi all,
I've installed the wiki add-on and I've checked that trex indexing is enabled
Unfortunately there is no index in the Trex index administrator, so I can´t use the trex to search wiki pages and attachments.
(BTW There is no error log)
Any ideas?
We are creating a new page using web page composer, and are using the authoring feature. We’d like to give our business users access to make updates to the page. We’ve noticed that by giving read/write or full control access to the page the user gets access to upload. We would like to be able to restrict that access. Does anyone know if there is a way to customize the setting of an author? Or just simply customize the tool bar they get in the editor to remove the upload? (See attached image of tool bar). I have a requirement here where i need to display the MS word document in portal.I have done the following
1.Uploaded the document in KM
2.Created the KM Document Iview
3.Given the access link path.
Now the document is opening seperately.Is there anyway where when i clicked on the iview the document should open in the iview itself not seperately?

I am trying to read the files in a KM directory using JSP.
We are on SAP Portal 7.31 SP09 and we are using AFP layout.
I am getting the following error on the below line of code:

Error : ClassNotFoundException: com.sap.netweaver.bc.rf.common.exception.RepositoryException
I have read many blogs and trying to fix this issue.
I have imported the com.sap.tc~km~frwk.war and this project is referenced in my JSP Project buildpath. But still I am getting this error. I also tried to export this war project to jar and added to my current project build path. But still no luck.
Could some one please help me on this issue?

i have trouble with my WPC transport packages which i have been using for more than 1 year. My permissions haven't changed also.
When i now try to export the package, it tells me that i do not have permission for all included objects and therefore i can't execute it.
The object i have no permission for is in pcd:com.sap.portal.system/pcc/rt_content/com.sap.portal.pcc/StagingAreaId/ObjectXYZ.
How can i set permissions on this? Or why is that even happening since nothing seems to have been changed.

i am facing a very strange issue in my EP.
We have Km configured which is used to show some news on the Portal. Recently Basis have started a new server instance, now when we click on any KM document under KM content the screen just freezes and after few minutes we get a connection timeout. so, finally the basis have stopped the instance.
But the problem is the Km documents are still not opening... Now even the KM content page is not getting opened.
please help!

We are running on SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4 SP 4.
We are facing issue with permission on the WPC Area's.
From the "Content Editor" of the "Accessible Area Management", we are setting the permission for the Area's.
Now we have scenario like the below:
We have Area A with Read / Write Permission for Users A& B.
Inside Area A, we have sub folders to store documents. We want to give the Writepermission only to User A.
Is that possible? Kindly help me in this regard.
