When I tried to map a network drive in Windows Explorer to the WEBDAV URL of the Portal , don´t accept the URL. It said the folder is not valid. I know are problem with WebDAV in Windows 7. but not are a solution to this yet.

Hi all,
When i am trying to upload an image to KM of my portal, it is giving me error "Image1.jpg" does not exist, or file is empty; you cannot upload empty files.
I am getting this error even when i am trying to upload any document like PDF or word doc. What could be the reason?
I am not getting why this error is coming, any input on this??

I've been over this it seems a 1000 times but I have to be missing something. I'm going to lay it out in what I hope to be enough detail so someone can tell me where things are going wrong.
Environment:
- Target platform - EP6.0 SP2
- SAP Developer Studio 2.0.11
Goal:
Create a custom task that can be run via the KM Scheduler that has access to portal specific information (users, etc).
Current Process:
- Follow Prakash Singh's article on creating a KM scheduled task (Did you know you can schedule jobs in portal using KM's Scheduler Task?) (create a portal app project, and use the Service, Filter, and Task generation wizard specifying EP6SP2)
- Before deploying the PAR, copy the 'local' folder under src.config to the same location but rename 'install'. (this keeps the PAR from erroring during building. Will get 'Cannot create config archive (you should have a valid data or meta folder)' error if I dont). <- I suspect that this step may be part of my issue.
- PAR deploys fine, will see a JDBC error (null pointer exception in the JDBC driver) in the log upon first deployment, (Strange since I'm not using JDBC here) but does not seem to affect the application. Possibly related to Hot Deployment issues of scheduled tasks (Problem with scheduler task and Scheduling ISchedulerTask)
when the server restarts the application loads OK.
- Task shows in KM Scheduler, and can configure schedule OK but no execution. No mention in the logs even with System.out statements. Its as if the task is not being executed at all. Even if I deliberately put in an error (div/0) I will not see anything in the console logs.
I have been through the component monitor and it seems that everything is running fine but the scheduled tasks do not execute.

I'm trying to add the current user in an inputfield for a metadata property. We need to add multiple users in on metadata property and I need the current user as the default user. No problem you would say.
Problem is I wrote this customized Java class (NO Web Dynpro or iView) based on Thilo Brandts article:
This class is added as a metadata extension so it's NOT a standalone application.
Result is I do not have the 'request' value I need to get the current user id with the:
IUser me = request.getUser();
command. Also I don't find the information on how to use the context method to retrieve the user information.

I am working with SAP Netweaver 7.4 SP04. I want to create KM Scheduler Task to execute some of the KM functionalities on the predefined interval. I came across Scheduler Jobs & Tasks (Developing and Scheduling Jobs - Using Central Development Services - SAP Library) looks different to me.

Hi Experts,
we intsalled TREX 7.0 on windows 2003 with NW2004s java edition successfully.
But at the time of configuring TREX with ABAP client by creating RFC Destination using TREX admin tool, we are facing problem. we are unable to create an RFC destination from TREX admin tool by clicking on the button RFCDestination(sm59)
Thats why, when we tried to create a new connection in SAP under sm59 screen there also we got "Connection Error (CPI-C error)".
PLZ guide me how to configure TREX with ABAP client successfully

Hello,
I am in to NW04s EP SP10.
In my Room directory iview, I am not able to see all the rooms that i have created under each tab(my room, Restricted, public).For example, I have created 15 rooms under restricted category. But I am able to see only 10 rooms under the Restricted rooms tab in the room directory iview.There is no option to navigate to see the remaining 5 rooms.
Is there any way to show all the rooms under each tab or to provide next page navigation if it exceeds 10.

Issue: If the property is set as multi-value, then the search does not return any results.
i.e. In the above code example, if the property "lang" is multi-valued then the search gets no results.
Has anyone run into this issue?

Hi Guys,
Need help here. This error occurs at random in the KM and also by randam content editors. They navigate into the "Explorer" of Content Management and follow the folder structure created for their content. Upon triggering to open a folder in teh structure, the content editors sometimes get the error message: "400 Bad HTTP request". This happens to afew of them so often, such that every clicks within the folder structures all ended in the same error.
At first I thought it could be a hardware issue, so I log on to the same hardware with my userID and I do not have any problems (no 400 error message). I even ask the user to try it on a different hardware and he does not get any error with a new hardware. However, after afew weeks, the 400 error occur again for the same users with new hardware.
Does anyone experience the same issue as me?

Cause It seems that the amount of virtual memory of server (AIX) decreases to fast with working TREX.
Already examed sapprofile.ini & topology.ini
At least which parameters are exist fot that purpose?
